Why I built NOETA

I'm a civil engineer by profession, with an MSc in Construction Management. On infrastructure projects, I watched contractors burn hours that should have gone into real work, like proposals, contracts, and compliance packs, instead spending that time on paperwork. Looking deeper into the UK construction industry, compliance stood out as one of the most time consuming and document heavy parts of the job: CHAS and SSIP accreditation are expensive, slow, and genuinely hard to get right unless you do it constantly.

Around the same time, working with AI showed me how much more the construction sector could be doing with it. In construction, time is the one thing you can't get back.

So I built a system to fix construction compliance. NOETA checks an application against the relevant SSIP criteria the way an assessor would, using a rules engine built specifically for this. It flags what's missing, drafts the documents you don't have, and fixes the ones that need it. Every pack is reviewed against CHAS's criteria before it's submitted, so nothing goes out unchecked.
